FAQs

When is a good time to see an Astrologer?

Any time! Perhaps you’re simply curious about this ancient science and how it applies to you individually.

It is common during times of change or transition to seek out support from an Astrologer.

Or perhaps you’re going through a phase of comparing yourself to others or wishing you were different in some way, and some affirmation or validation could be useful.

What type of Astrology do you practice?

I would describe it as a modern Western approach, using the tropical zodiac. My education does not subscribe fully to any particular school of Astrology. I am interested in some parts of Psychological Astrology and apply this when appropriate.

Which house system do you use?

Placidus.

Can you read someone else’s chart for me?

I will read for a child’s parents or caregivers if the child is under the age of 12. Ideally, both parents will have consented to having a reading take place.

Otherwise, I am unable to interpret any chart unless the reading is solicited by the individual. If you would like to gift a reading, I offer gift cards that the recipient can redeem themselves.

Is an Astrology reading similar to a psychic reading?

An Astrology reading is not a predictive psychic reading. It is an interpretation of data. I interpret this data into themes that may be reflected in various areas of everyday life in the past, present or future depending on the nature of the reading.

How important is an accurate birth time in a reading?

The more accurate the birth time, the more accurate the reading.

I can work with a rough birth time for all the readings I offer.

For predictive work, the birth time is very important for the accuracy of the timing of events, but we can take an estimated time into account during the reading.
